About the role:
As a Technician Facilities & Maintenance you will ensure an optimal logistical process within the Facility and Maintenance team on the Venray site. This means preventing malfunctions by carrying out preventive maintenance to technical and building related installations, (possibly) together with external parties like KNAPP. In addition to repairing malfunctions, you’ll make improvement proposals on technical and or building related areas and you advise when purchasing technical equipment. Finally, you will also ensure optimal facility affairs by preventive checks and possibly quick solutions in case of malfunctions.
In this role, you will:
- Remedy malfunctions and carry out repairs, when possible, to production equipment (for instance a pick line) and other technical, facility and/or architectural installations within the EMEA distribution center.
- Ensure timely preventive maintenance is carried out by means of a work equipment list and ensure a complete and correct administrative handling of the maintenance work done. Everything is focused on preventing a standstill of our operation.
- Make improvement propositions on a technical and architectural field and advise on the purchasing of machines, materials and other equipment.
- Carry out architectural repairs and or improvements in and outside the building, in consultation with the F&M manager.
- Check timely inspections of building related installations.
- Guide and maintain contact with hired mechanics and suppliers and third parties with regards to the correct execution of work.
- Guide companies (mechanics) who are commissioned by the technical manager for inspections, repairs and maintenance. In both cases you’ll secure safety and hygiene and correct execution of repairs.
- Report malfunctions to the building and building related installations.
- Execute repairs and remedy malfunctions of building-related installations and technical installations so that production downtime is minimal, and a maximum output can be realized.
Our requirements:
- Experienced with PTL pick lines, label- and packing machines and experienced with working in Fast Moving Consuming Goods settings.
- MBO education WTB and/or Electrical engineering (mechatronic).
- In possession of legally required certificates with regards to working on electro technical installations.
- In possession of a VCA certificate.
- Being able to remedy electro technical and mechanical malfunctions as well as Measure & Control Engineering malfunctions among which HVAC (Heating Ventilation Airco) and sanitary.
- The drive to understand technical systems.
- Competent person NEN3140.
- Knowledge of MS office.
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English language; Knowledge of German language is a plus.
- Flexible in handling and working hours.
- Customer and service-related attitude.
- Good communicative skills.
- Independent.
- Works well together with multiple disciplines.
- Knowledge of both electrical and mechanical engineering is a plus.
